1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Exams OS ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including students, tutors, proctors, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

Exams OS is a secure, mobile-first AI-powered examination and learning platform. The Platform provides online course management, AI-generated practice tests, proctored examination sessions, and performance analytics. The service is provided on an "as-is" basis and may be updated or modified at any time.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Exam Integrity

Exams OS includes proctoring features designed to maintain examination integrity. By taking a proctored exam, you agree to:

• Allow camera access for face detection during proctored sessions.
• Refrain from switching tabs, copying content, or using unauthorized resources.
• Accept that suspicious activity may be flagged and reviewed by a proctor.
• Accept that violations may result in exam invalidation or account suspension.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses Google Gemini AI to generate questions, explanations, and study materials. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Tutors and administrators are responsible for reviewing AI-generated exam content before publishing. Exams OS is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated material.

6. Intellectual Property

Course content uploaded by tutors remains the intellectual property of the respective content creator. The Exams OS platform software is licensed under the MIT License. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform's proprietary elements without permission.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to cheat, manipulate, or bypass proctoring safeguards.
• Sharing exam questions or answers with unauthorized parties.
• Using automated tools or bots to interact with the Platform.
• Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise Platform security.
• Impersonating another user or misrepresenting your identity.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

Exams OS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exams OS and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, exam results, or academic standing.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
